For anyone who has ever worked in the service industry, especially food and beverage I'm sure you will have a deep profound appreciation for what I am about to describe. For anyone who is new to the service industry or has no sweet clue what happens in the "back of house"; out of the guests sight; this may give you a new insight into The Real "Waiting" Game.
I'm sure we have all from time to time felt that our jobs have excessive politics and drama making it almost impossible to stay afloat. This industry of mine is even more prone to the games of the workplace drama. The hospitality industry is famous for its late nights, parting, sex, drugs and alcohol. I have made my rounds in this industry but this place tops it all. The stage show and the "lifestyle" of this establishment entered Soap Opera levels: I'm positive I have lost millions by not submitting the video surveillance tapes to MTV to make a reality series of this one restaurant in a small Ontario town: the home of 75 thousand people.
